The announced full-game date
Steam identifies October 30, 2026 as the planned full-game release. Console announcement coverage reports the same date for PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2. This agreement is the basis for the date shown here.
The console reveal accompanied the September 30 announcement. That announcement date and the game’s release date serve different purposes. Use October 30 when answering when players are expected to receive the full adventure.
Which platforms are included?
The announced platforms are Windows PC through Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The official game hub provides the corresponding storefront destinations. Follow the relevant platform link rather than using another store’s status as a purchase confirmation.
Nintendo Switch 2 is the Nintendo system named in those announcements. The PS5 listing similarly identifies Sony’s current console edition. Keeping the exact system names in view avoids turning a broad platform shorthand into support for a different device.
Reading the PlayStation unlock time
The US PlayStation page specifies October 30 at 17:00 UTC. That is a platform-specific listing and should be described as such. It is more precise than a calendar date, but it is not a verified statement about every store’s unlock behavior.
Before planning a play session, check the storefront tied to your account and region. Read both the date and the time format shown there. A different display should be resolved using that platform’s current product page rather than a general countdown.
The demo has its own release history
The free Steam demo was released on December 4, 2025. It is app 4081520, while the full game uses app 1799840. Those separate listings explain why players can already have demo playtime or demo achievements before the scheduled retail release.
The playable slice introduces an opening area, weapons, a dungeon and a boss. Its approximate one-hour estimate belongs to that slice. It should not be substituted for the full game’s release status or treated as an early complete campaign.
What to check as launch approaches
Return to the official store for your platform and confirm the current availability and price. Use the download guide if you want the verified free PC demo before then. For a console purchase, keep the PS5 and Switch 2 platform guides separate from Steam installation instructions.
