The announced base prices
Freshly Baked Games published pricing in its Steam community announcement titled Pricing info, plus 275k wishlists hit! The announcement gives the US, euro and UK amounts above. It refers to Steam’s recommended regional prices for other countries instead of setting one currency conversion for everyone.
The official game account also announced $19.99 across platforms, subject to regional variation. That gives players a clear announced US starting point. The local storefront is still the right place to check the amount attached to your particular purchase.
Launch discount and the Xbox example
The developer announced a 15% launch discount. The inspected US Xbox listing separately displayed a $19.99 regular amount and a $16.99 promotional preorder amount. That agreement supports the US base price while preserving the context of the observed offer.
Read the current dates and eligibility on your chosen store before using a promotion. An Xbox preorder observation should not be relabelled as a Sony checkout price. The PS5 price page explains that console-specific distinction without changing the announced base amount.
Choosing the right regional listing
Choose your platform first, then open the store connected to the account you intend to use. Read the currency as well as the number. A dollar amount, euro amount and sterling amount are distinct published prices rather than interchangeable totals.
The official game hub links Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2. Follow that platform route to the product page instead of a generic search result. Confirm the title and system before comparing a promotional badge with the regular price.
The free demo is a different product
The Steam demo is free and has a separate app ID from the full game. Its scope includes the opening area, weapons, the first dungeon and a boss. Trying that slice is a way to assess the game’s approach before deciding whether to purchase the complete adventure.
The publisher’s estimate of about one hour describes the demo. It does not convert the paid game into a free full-game download. Keep the demo installation button and the retail store page clearly separated when comparing your options.
A practical price checklist
Check the platform, currency, regular amount, promotional amount and offer dates on the same product page. Use the release-date guide to distinguish availability from pricing. If you are comparing PS5 specifically, continue with the console price guide rather than applying a different store’s observed discount.
